Monica Moreno
Teacher Licensure, Secondary World Languages

Monica Moreno is teaching Spanish at Westview Middle School in Longmont, CO. Her school was recently awarded with the Colorado Government’s Distinguished Improvement Award. 


Reynaldo Reyes, III

Reynaldo Reyes is Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Texas at El Paso. He recently published a highly praised book based on his dissertation, Learning the Possible: Mexican American Students Moving from the Margins of Life to New Ways of Being


Megan Mistler-Jackson
PhD, Science Education

Megan Mistler-Jackson is the 5th Gear Kids Coordinator in Cherry Creek School District. The program teaches 5th graders and their families knowledge and skills for lifelong health through science, PE and community partnerships. Funded by the Colorado Health Foundation and managed by Dr. Jim Hill at CU Anschutz Medical Campus, the program also serves Aurora Public Schools, with plans for expansion.


Char Schmoker
MA, Secondary Science

I am a Lead Guide in a lower elementary classroom at a Montessori charter school. Our classroom has a mix of 26 first-, second-, and third-year students. I earned my Montessori Credential last year to prepare me for this new frontier. I integrate all areas of study, including music, art, and even a peace curriculum. Lots of hard work, but I love it!


Ed Cannava
PhD, Music Education

Ed Cannava is an instrumental music education instructor at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Executive Secretary for the Colorado Bandmasters Association, Director of the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars, and Chief Judge for the Friendship Cup Marching Band Show Series. Dr. Cannava is an instrumental music consultant, adjudicator, clinician and guest conductor.


Zachariah Miracle
Teacher Licensure, Secondary Social Studies

Zachariah Miracle recently earned his Master of Arts in Special Education at Colorado Mesa University. He teaches special education at a middle school in Grand Junction, CO.


Robert McIntyre

Robert McIntyre is a licensed psychologist specialized in forensic and neuropsychology, consequent to completing several post-doctoral specialty training programs. He has an office and hospital practice in Boulder; and has consulted in civil, criminal, family law, and military justice trials held in AZ, CA, CO, FL, ND, SD, SC, TX, and WY. 


Milissa Nelson
Teacher Licensure, Music Education

Milissa Nelson lives in Sartell, MN and recently published her first novel, Seasons of Raina, with North Star Press.


Randy Nathan, MSW
Teacher Licensure, Secondary Social Studies

Randy Nathan recently published Bullying in Sports: A Guide To Identifying The Injuries We Don’t See. He is an international keynote speaker and workshop facilitator on positive leadership and coaching, with a focus on anti-bullying strategies in sports.


Sandy (Fly) McDivitt
MA, Multicultural Education

My 39 years in K-12 education in Colorado, California and India have created a foundation for serving as Co-chair on the Board of Directors for Ananda College in Gaston, Oregon. Multicultural and alternative education have been my life passion. Ananda College promotes 'higher education for higher consciousness' and provides a path for students who don't fit into a traditional mold.
