The Elementary Education program leads to a Colorado provisional teaching license for grades Kindergarten through 6th. Designed to complete the program requirements in four semesters, you will be part of supportive cohort. You learn through education courses and school-based practicum and student teaching experiences in local schools. Practicum placements are selected by the School of Education and require that students travel to school sites in the Boulder/Denver region.
To be eligible for licensure, candidates must successfully complete all academic and field experience requirements, pass a state-approved licensure exam, and complete one student teaching semester.
