Thanksgiving Dinner

You and your friends have promised to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for your parents. You want to spend as little time as possible to complete your obligation.

The first step in figuring out the minimum amount of time that must be spent is to prepare a "To Do" list. The class will be considered one large committee, and it will decide the menu as well as the tasks necessary to cooking the meal. (For example, shopping). Beside each item, the committed must determine how long each item will take to complete. (Your committee must prepare a list of 15 items).

In sub-committees (three to four people) your task is to determine the entire minimum time in hours necessary to cook the dinner. You may use any method that is agreed upon by all of the members of your group. Once your sub-committee has completed its list, you must elect a spokesperson to prepare your presentation on the overhead transparency, present the group's decision to the entire committee, and explain the method (and reasoning) used to reach the decision, and justify the solution.
