Roughly 200 faculty, staff, students and community supporters posed for the camera on Wednesday, September 30th representing the LGBT*Q flag. sj Miller, an associate professor for Literacy Studies within the School of Education was the organizer for the event.
"We are very proud of our campus and the steps that have been taken to affirm and support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, and queer communities at CU and within Boulder County. Inviting supporters on the CU campus and the CU LGBT*Q communities to participate in a group photograph increases awareness and visibility." - sj
