Eco-Social Justice Leadership Program

SORCE and the Environmental Center are pleased to launch an innovative new student training in Fall 2014. The Eco-Social Justice Leadership program empowers student learning with the knowledge and skills to advance sustainability and social justice efforts. This purpose of this program is to underscore the direct correlation of sustainability and social justice work which, in turn, creates an opportunity for student leadership and action surrounding this work on CU campus.

Be a Zero Waste Warrior with Ralphie’s Green Stampede!

Join Ralphie’s Green Stampede at home football games and help us keep Folsom a zero-waste stadium... and get in to the game FOR FREE.  Volunteers are needed to staff zero-waste stations throughout the stadium to educate football fans about the importance and impact of composting and recycling.  As a Zero Waste Goalie, volunteers are on the front line to divert waste from the landfill, helping us get to our goal of 90% diversion!

New Campus Recycling Facility Coming Spring 2015!

Exciting plans are in the works at the parking lot just east of the Regent AutoPark. In September, Facilities Management will break ground there for the construction of a two-story, 14,000-square-foot facility that will provide a permanent home for Grounds & Recycling.
