CU Buffs Green Scenes

One Million Acts of Green is hosting the CU Buffs Green Scenes video contest!


Do you carry a reusable water bottle? Do you ride your bike to class or work? Do you turn off extra lights to save energy? These Acts of Green add up to save water and energy and reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.


Register on One Million Acts of Green and send us a video of your Act of Green via our contest form to earn great prizes and everlasting fame!


Any CU student, faculty or staff member who registers and submits a video in the month of February will choose from a variety of eco-friendly One Million Acts of Green prizes, including recycled-content frisbees, reusable water bottles, reusable bags and solar-charged flashlights.


On Earth Day 2014 (April 22), one winner will be selected to receive a $50 VISA gift card, and two runners-up will receive $25 VISA gift cards!


How to enter:


1) Register on One Million Acts of Green and start tracking your actions to help us reach One Million Acts of Green by the end of the Spring 2014 semester!


2) Make a 10 to 30-second video of yourself performing an Act of Green. Vines and YouTube videos are welcome!


3) Click here to fill out the contest form!


The contest ends April 22, 2014, so send in your video today! This contest is open to all CU students, faculty and staff.


One Million Acts of Green is a social networking platform that allows CU students, faculty and staff to track and calculate the impact of their sustainable actions.


By submitting your video, you are authorizing the University of Colorado and the CU Environmental Center to use and reproduce the video materials for promotional purposes.
