CU has come a long way in energy and water conservation, but we still have a long way to go and we need your help. Students, staff, and faculty see many opportunities to save energy and water in their daily lives on campus, but usually they don't know what to do about it.
First, whenever possible, report energy and water waste to the hotline at (303) 735-6202 or EnergyConservationHotline@fm.colorado.edu
If it is a bigger problem, we have resources to help. You can apply for Sustainable CU funding monthly for projects under $2,500 or yearly for projects up to $50,000. This funding is for innovative student-driven projects that will help CU reach it's sustainability goals. If you have an idea, but need some help developing it, contact Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish at email@example.com.
Is your project bigger than that? You can apply for a loan from the Energy and Climate Revolving Fund. If you have an idea for a project in one of the CUSG-owned buildings (Rec Center or UMC), you can apply for a grant from the Energy Efficiency Fund to cover the cost.
We are here to help! If you have a project idea and don't know how to begin, contact Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish at firstname.lastname@example.org or (303) 492-3229.
