The Third Biennial International Conference on Practical Linguistics of Japanese (ICPLJ) will be held at San Francisco State University, March 22-23, 2002. ICPLJ is intended to bring together researchers at the cutting edge of Japanese linguistics and to offer a forum in which their research results can be presented in a form that is useful to those desiring practical applications in the field of teaching Japanese as a second/foreign language and computer-assisted language learning (CALL) technology.
