14th CATJ Conference


The Central Association of Teachers of Japanese will hold its 14th conference at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Saturday, April 20, 2002. The theme of the conference is: "How to Improve Japanese Language Teaching Through the Use of the Proficiency-Oriented Approach." The keynote speaker will be Prof. Seiichi Makino of Princeton University. About ten presenters will be selected for the conference.
