The 16th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese
(SEATJ)
will be held at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, on March 10-11, 2001. The
special topic is the crossover between language teaching and the general curriculum, particularly
at the high school level, including issues such as providing language students with opportunities
for cultural study, developing working relations with faculty in related disciplines (such as litera-
ture, history, other languages, and TESOL), and institutional issues such as certification and
