Applications are being accepted to attend the 52nd Japan-America Student Conference from July 21 to August 21, 2000, an annual event which is entirely managed by and for university students. The Conference venue alternates between Japan and the U.S.; this year's conference will convene in Hawaii before moving on to the U.S. mainland. Sixty-four participants from the two countries will exchange views on issues of concern to both societies; they will be selected to represent their universities at the JASC.
