Develop your teaching skills and move to a new level of experience, with the Cheng & Tsui Professional Development Award. Apply now to win a grant from this annual awards program, offered by one of the world's leading publishers of Japanese language learning materials. The award supports the participation of pre-collegiate and collegiate teachers in training workshops, seminars, and other inservice learning experiences at the local, national, or international level. Go to a new conference, develop curriculum or classroom materials, collaborate with a mentor teacher. The award is limited (up to $1,000), but your options are not. New teachers in the field are encouraged to apply. Application deadline is September 6, 2005, with winners to be notified by October 3. Winners will be announced at the 2005 ACTFL Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD. |
