Scholarships are still available for teachers of Japanese language to attend the 2007 AP(r) Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 11-15.
These professional development scholarships will be applied to registration and travel expenses for conference attendees. Japanese language teachers for grades 6-12 may apply. The deadline to submit your request for this scholarship opportunity has been extended to May 18, 2007.
The conference will include workshops and sessions of interest to teachers of Japanese and other world languages.

Once you have completed the Scholarship Application Form (1 page) and the AP Annual Conference Registration Form (2 pages, the payment information may be left blank), mail both forms together to June Shikatani's attention at the College Board postmarked by no later than May 18, 2007.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 60 scholarships are being given to eligible applicants. Do NOT send your conference registration form to the address located at the bottom of the registration form. If you do, the processing of your scholarship application will be delayed.
