The College Board is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship funding for teachers of Japanese to attend the 2007 AP Annual Conference. These professional development scholarships will be applied to registration and travel expenses for conference attendees. The AP Annual Conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 11-15, 2007. Japanese teacher for grades 6-12 may apply. There are 60 scholarships available to eligible applicants.
The conference will include workshops and sessions of interest to teachers of Japanese and other world languages. To learn more about the 2007 AP Annual Conference, please visit:http://www.collegeboard.com/apac/2007.

For the Scholarship Application Form and AP Annual Conference Registration Form, please visit the AP Japanese Language and Culture home page - http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/japanese.
Once you have completed the Scholarship Application Form (1 page) and the AP Annual Conference Registration Form (2 pages, the payment information may be left blank), mail both forms together to June Shikatani's attention at the College Board postmarked by no later than April 15, 2007. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Do NOT send your conference registration form to the address located at the bottom of the registration form.Ê If you do, the processing of your scholarship application will be delayed.
