The DS commitment to diversity is based upon the idea that people must become more sensitive to the socially constructed interdependencies of privilege and under representation. It is our vision that no human being should have to face challenges due to a socially imposed stigma, marginalization, or exclusion on the basis of race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or religion. Besides DS, another diversity resources for people with disabilities is the Chancellor's Program Accessibility Committee (PAC). PAC assists the administration to ensure that people with disabilities are afforded access to programs, services, and activities offered by the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB). For additional information on diversity at CU-Boulder, contact the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement. For information specifically related to the Americans with Disabilities Act, contact Human Resources. |
