The Digital Humanities Initiative (DHI) at the University of Colorado at Boulder is a collaborative effort to promote and foster digitial humanities scholarship on the CU-Boulder campus.

The initiative is supported by a sub-committee of humanities, libraries, and academic technology faculty and staff. Together, those working on DHI are attempting to address and meet the demands of a new form of humanities scholarship molded by digital technology.

To do this, the DHI sub-committee is charged with developing a series of workshops and events that will educate faculty and staff in the area of the digital humanities. Potential topics for these workshops and events include digital literacy, skills acquisition, preservation and accessibility of digital works, sustainability, and publishing..
