Christina has over 15 years of experience working in higher education. Her administrative roles have included over 10 years at Arizona State University where she served in many capacities starting as an academic advisor and coordinator, then working her way up to the Associate Dean level. Christina then worked for three years at UC Berkeley where she served as the Associate Dean of Students.
In her many roles, Christina has been a passionate educator, leader, mentor, and student advocate. At each campus she has been a part of several strong teams that integrated the learning that occurs inside, and outside, of the classroom into a seamless experience for students. Her role is to focus on enhancing the student experience at CU Boulder.
Christina holds a BS in History from Western New Mexico University and an MA in Educational Management and Leadership from New Mexico State University.
Christina has served as an advocate for policies, practices and programs which enhance the student experience, foster student learning and development, and encourage student involvement.
Christina has served as a consultant/resource for faculty and administrators on issues of student-related policies, student intervention and student support.
