Alicia Robb is Founder and CEO of Next Wave Ventures and a managing partner for several early stage venture funds. She has been a senior fellow with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for more than a decade and a is visiting scholar with the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the founder and past executive director and board chair of the Foundation for Sustainable Development, an international development organization working in Latin America, Africa, and India. Robb received her MS and PhD in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously has worked with the Office of Economic Research in the Small Business Administration and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. She is also a prolific author on the topic of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial finance. Robb serves on the Board of the Rising Tide Foundation and the Advisory Board for Global Entrepreneurship Week and the Good Food Institute, and is a guest contributor to outlets such as Huffington Post, Inc., and Forbes.
