Boulder is a pleasant place during the summer. There are various activities on campus in the evening, including the renowned Colorado Shakespeare Festival and numerous weekend cultural events. The town is surrounded by publicly-owned open space with numerous hiking trails. On our break days, we will arrange for excursions to local Asia‐related religious sites in Denver (like the Fung Loy Kok Daoist temple) and to nearby communities in the mountains.

We have coordinated with the Conference Services division of the University of Colorado Housing Office in arranging housing for participants and consultants. We received a quote of $961 for a single room and $812 for a shared double room, including breakfast. There may be an option for full board, but we would probably have to select this as a group. Housing will be on campus, in a LEED-Platinum-rated building in easy walking distance of our meeting rooms. Housing on campus will also provide internet access to the campus network, along with the electronic resources of the University of Colorado library system.
