Claudia Colemanís technology career began when she joined Hewlett-Packard in 1971. She began in an administrative position, and her career grew rapidly as HP rose to prominence in the emerging computer industry. Mrs. Coleman was promoted to district manager, responsible for helping build HPís sales channel for printers and computer peripherals. Her sales career was highlighted by her selection to HPís prestigious Presidentís Club in 198. She finished her career at HP in 1991 as a marketing manager in the companyís multi-billion dollar Computer Organization.
For most of the past decade, Mrs. Colemanís energy has been focused on various volunteer, charitable and philanthropic activities, including the newly established Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities at the University of Colorado.
