Chris Shiflett

Chris Shiflett is guitarist for Foo Fighters, the multi-platinum selling rock band formed by former Nirvana drummer David Grohl. Shiflett initially joined the band as touring guitarist, but achieved full time status prior to the recording of the groupís fourth album One by One. Before joining Foo Fighters, Shiflett was resident lead guitarist for the energetic and well-known Bay Area punk rock band No Use For A Name.

In addition to touring and recording with Foo Fighters, Shiflett currently plays in the punk rock cover band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, as well as fronting his own side project Jackson United. He has also recently turned to film scoring projects. His first original score for the documentary Coastal Clash won a 2005 musical composition Emmy.
