Patrick Boel is advisor and partner for companies, not-for-profit organizations, and public institutions, focusing on strategy and policy issues. "Leadership with compassion" is the motto for this stage in his life.
Boel began his career in 1978 as a city planner in urban rehabilitation. Working in Western and Central Europe, Russia, and the Caucasus, he has gained a wide and international experience as entrepreneur, advisor, manager, trainer, developer, and director. Age and experience enable him to see complex situations in a broader context in order to get to the essence. In his work he is inspiring, analytic, persevering, caring, and reliable.
After his recent sabbatical, Boel has returned to his roots in urban development with its wide range of (conflicting) interests and long term development processes. He assists local government and housing corporations with the management of multi-dimension cooperation and chaos planning.
The theme of this year's conference, “Who, How and Why,” challenges us to reflect and to share our insights.
