Nancy Truitt is senior advisor to the Tinker Foundation, overseeing its programs in economic policy and governance in Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. She also has her own consulting company working with think tanks and nonprofit organizations in developing and transitional countries on strategic planning and communication.
For 15 years she edited the Newsletter of the International Center for Economic Growth and directed their programs on strategic planning and communication. She has consulted on international operations with corporations such as International Nickel, and Sears, Roebuck and Co., and she worked with think tanks in Latin America, including Hernando de Soto’s Instituto Libertad y Democracia. Her latest publication is “Think Tanks in Latin America” in Think Tanks and Civil Society.
Truitt chairs the board of ACCION International, a microcredit organization. She is a graduate of Stanford University in political science and has an MBA from New York University.
