Elie Barrak was born in Lebanon and began playing the piano at the age of seven. He moved to London at the age of 20 to study music and remained there for 15 years. He worked in London and Lebanon with various artists from all musical backgrounds.
Barrak recently completed a world tour of over 110 concerts with Sarah Brightman, playing keyboards and starring in a vocal duet with Brightman. He has returned to Lebanon to teach music and work as a performing artist. He also is working on an oriental fusion album.
His other interests include the research of Lebanese history, highlighting the importance of Phoenician civilization and its biblical connection. Barrak is also writing a book in Arabic dealing with the political and social issues in Lebanon and the world in general.
