Sally Fay is a writer and performer based in the New York City metro area. She and partners Bill Weeden and David Finkle have been working together as Weeden, Finkle & Fay for over 20 years. As well as winning awards for their nightclub act, they have written and performed two original Off-Broadway musicals, plus a children’s musical that toured theaters and schools all over the country. Fay and collaborators are the authors of Move It and It’s Yours, a new musical.
Through their corporate entertainment firm, Fay and partners have written, performed, and produced humorous business shows for a long list of Fortune 500 companies, including Fortune magazine itself. When their company was profiled in The Wall Street Journal, Fay was only the third woman to have her face “etched” on the front page.
Fay’s years of probing the innards of corporations segued well into her current work as a marketing communications consultant. This year she convinced hordes of New York-area suburbanites to don their wellies and slog through a Rockefeller-backed experiment in sustainable agriculture. She also lured some old-school marketing managers into the wacky world of counting site hits, and she put together a darn good business case about why actuaries should take their lone, number-crunching selves and morph into chief risk officers.
Fay has led a weekly divorce support group for three years and works as a child advocate and teen program coordinator at a maximum security women’s prison.
