Tim Long

Tim Long is a co-executive producer and writer for The Simpsons. He joined the staff of the Fox-TV program in 1998. Before that he served for three years as a writer for Late Show With David Letterman, including one year as head writer. Long has been nominated for eight Emmys and has won three. He also won an Annie for outstanding writing for animation and has been nominated for a Golden Globe award.

Long was raised in Exeter, Ontario, and received his bachelorís degree from the University of Toronto. He later earned an MA in English from Columbia University.
