Daniel J. Benor
Daniel J. Benor is a wholistic psychiatrist who blends elements from intuitive and spiritual awareness, spiritual healing, meridian-based psychotherapies, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, transactional analysis, gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, meditation, imagery and relaxation, dream analysis and other approaches. Benor has taught this spectrum of methods internationally for 20 years to practitioners of wholistic, intuitive and spiritual approaches to caring, health and personal development.
After ten years in England where he founded the Doctor-Healer Network, Benor returned to the Philadelphia area as coordinator for the Council for Healing, a nonprofit U.S. organization that promotes awareness of spiritual healing. He is the author of Healing Research, Volumes I-IV and many articles on wholistic spiritual healing. He also is the editor and publisher of the International Journal of Healing and Caring–On Line, and moderates the Wholistic Healing Research website.
Benor is a founding diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine and sits on the advisory councils of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques and the Research Council for Complementary Medicine in the U.K. He is on advisory boards of the journals Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) and Frontier Sciences. He is a core reviewer for BioMed Central, Complementary and Alternative Medicine–On Line. Benor also appears internationally on radio and television.
