Michael Franc is vice president of government relations for the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C. A long-time veteran of Washington policymaking, Franc oversees Heritage’s outreach to members of the U.S. House and Senate and their staffs.
From 1993-1996, Franc served as Heritage’s director of congressional relations. In 1996 he was Director of Communications for House Majority Leader Richard Armey of Texas. Before joining Heritage, he was in the Office of National Drug Control Policy and was Legislative Counsel for Representative William Dannemeyer of California.
A graduate of Yale University, Franc earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
