A man of many hats, Geoff Cline has been a professional singer/songwriter, touring musician and a lawyer. As a lawyer, he was general counsel for Patagonia, Inc., associate general counsel for the House of Blues and in private practice. Recently, he and some colleagues formed Standard Recordings, Inc., a new record company with an innovative business model. Cline also has experience as a management consultant in organizational development, communication skills and leadership. He is actively involved in child and family welfare issues and has been an advocate for persons with HIV/AIDS on issues relating to employment discrimination. Cline lives with his wife, furniture designer Sallie Trout, at the Jackalope Ranch on the Pedernales River near Austin, Texas.
