A writer-performer based in the NYC Metro area, Sally Fay, with partners Bill Weeden and David Finkle, have been working together as Weeden, Finkle & Fay for 20 years. As well as winning awards for their nightclub act, they have written and performed two original Off-Broadway musicals, “Trust Us” and “Survival Kitsch”; their successful children’s musical, “Babar’s Birthday,” commissioned by Theatreworks USA, toured theaters and schools all over the country. Fay and collaborators are the authors of “Move It and It’s Yours,” a new musical now making its way to the New York stage.
Through their corporate entertainment firm, Fay and partners have written, performed and produced humorous business shows for a long list of Fortune 500 companies, including Fortune magazine itself. When their company was profiled in The Wall Street Journal, Fay was only the third woman ever to have her face “etched” on the front page (her predecessors were Corazon Aquino and Mary Agee).
On her own, Fay writes and performs for the State Street Project in Trenton, New Jersey, a theatre program for at-risk children. Beyond the borders of theatrical pursuits, Fay writes marketing pieces and edits materials for two New York area consulting companies. She co-leads an established divorce support group, volunteers with a parenting project for female prison inmates, and writes news summaries for a “Good News” web site.
