Gabriela Enrigue earned a MPP degree from UC Berkely and holds degrees in both economics and political science from the Instituto Technologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM). The founder and CEO of Prospera, a social enterprise that empowers female-led micro businesses in Mexico and connects them to consumers, Enrigue currently consults for the World Bank Group, where she collaborates with the Doing Business project. She has been recognized by the Organization of American States, the Cartier Foundation, the Stanford Center of Entrepreneurial Design for Extreme Affordability, and Iniciativa Mexico. In addition, she has received several awards including the National Economics award, Echoing Green fellow, Unreasonable Institute fellow, Ashoka fellow, and the Architect of the Future award.
