Zulfiqar Ahmad
Zulfiqar Ahmad is an independent scholar and activist, based in Palo Alto, California, focusing on issues of peace and justice in South Asia. He has worked in both the private and nonprofit sectors, including as director of the South Asia program at the Nautilus Institute for Security and Sustainability (Berkeley, California). Ahmad is the president of the Eqbal Ahmad Foundation, a private organization working primarily on issues of security and peace in South Asia. He holds a master’s degree in comparative politics from the University of Chicago.
