Jennifer Pacheco is a PhD student in the Learning Sciences and Human Development Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is dedicated to addressing educational inequities and working with communities on health disparities. Jennifer was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. Working across the P-20 spectrum in the field of education for over 19 years, Jennifer has served as a bilingual teacher, community activist, college prep advisor, and college admissions professional. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Aurora Health Access, a collaboration of healthcare providers, community agencies, business leaders, and residents committed to improving access to care.

She received her B.A. in Human Biology with a concentration in Urban Education from Stanford University and her M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. When not at school, she loves spending time with her baby girl, writing poetry, and salsa dancing.
