On view August 9 - December 17, 2016 at the CU Art Museum. Mysterium Tremendum: collecting curiosity is a collaborative installation by Matt Barton and Scott Johnson and is inspired by the arrival of Shakespeare’s First Folio at CU-Boulder. The installation celebrates the important roles curiosity and wonder play in the pursuit of knowledge.
On view September 16, 2016 - February 4, 2017 at the CU Art Museum. This exhibition celebrates the little-studied artistic contributions of women, who were the drivers of cultural life in the first half of the twentieth century within Colorado, and provides as an important case study into the ways in which women contributed to the development of American art.
