The new SCSS project provides the following resources to all schools in Colorado:

Safe Schools Regional Trainings

Safe Schools Regional Trainings, sponsored by the Colorado School Safety Resource Center (CSSRC) and CSPV's Safe Communities ~ Safe Schools project, are being held around the state and are free to all Coloradoans interested in school safety planning. These trainings are designed to provide information and resources to help Colorado schools and communities improve their safe school planning. Registration for each training is required, and space is limited. Because they are funded by money that is required to provide resources for people within the state and usually fill up quickly, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate individuals from locations outside of Colorado.

It is strongly recommended that schools/communities have more than one attendee at these events so that different people can attend simultaneous break-out sessions. In addition, schools are likely to be more successful implementing information gained at the training if at least 2-3 people participate.

CEUs for these trainigs are available through the University of Colorado at Boulder's Continuing Education Department.
