SPARK: Elementary School Survey
The SPARK is an online school climate survey for elementary school students grades 3-6. All schools administer the Core Survey questions and can choose any Optional Modules that fit the needs of the school.
Some of the topics on the core survey include:
• Bullying Victimization and Perptration
• Perceptions of Feeling Safe at School
• Perpetration of Aggression
• Smoking, Alcohol, & Marijuana Use
• Bonding and Time with Family
• Parental Control and Monitoring
Some of the topics of the optional modules are:
• Involvement in Community Activities
• Physical Health Status and Exercise
• Academic Self-Efficacy
• Truancy

To administer the SPARK, schools must:
- have access to a computer lab with internet access where students can take the SPARK
- schedule the survey administration after students have been back in school for at least 60 days
