Wichita Multi-media Digital Archive Project

Project Goals: Create a multi-media archive of Wichita conversation, including text, audio, and video components.
Status: The project is now complete.
Details: This project was funded by the Volkswagen Foundation of Germany, and is part of a larger project to document endangered languages worldwide. The project makes use of software developed in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute. The data range from recordings in the 1960's and 1970's to field work done in through 2005.
