Pre-award: I am responsible for all aspects of sponsor project proposal development for CS’ Faculty:

• Interpreting Sponsor guidelines and expectations for a particular competition or opportunity, analyzing sponsored project proposals and budgets to ensure compliance with the University and Sponsor Guidelines procedures, and regulations, and ensuring that each proposal and its financial and in-kind commitments are acceptable to the University, the funding agency, and the University investigator.
• Develop proposal budget by assisting the Investigator to estimate budgetary needs; apply appropriate cost accounting standards, and accurately calculate the final budgets to be submitted.
• Advise University faculty and other personnel on such matters as the allowability of costs, transfer of costs among budget categories, and procedures for obtaining approval for deviations from or modifications to the approved Scope of Work and budget.
• Etc.
