Client Workstation Requirements:

Each workstation will be configured to print to either a B/W and/or Color (if applicable) printer in the vicinity. Within the application being used (e.g., Word, Excel, Internet Explorer) the Student/Patron will elect to print a document, just as they normally would.

Depending on the application being used, a screen similar to the following will appear:

Upon choosing “OK”, the following Windows screen example will then appear to a Patron:

At the Release Station monitor, this screen will appear. The Student/Patron is directed to swipe their card to activate the station.

The list of print jobs is then displayed. Examples:

• Clicking the Log Off button or tapping <Esc> key returns to the main swipe screen.
• The release station will automatically return to the main swipe screen after 5 seconds of inactivity.
• Print jobs will purge automatically from the print servers after 1 hour.
