Anil Aurora

Anil Arora

Anil is a junior majoring in Psychology. He plans on pursuing an advanced degree in psychology. As a peer educator, Anil will be working on his own project regarding health and wellness in college. He is also assisting with the Bounce Back program and the Motivational Workshops offered through CAPS. He is interested in expanding and taking the programming provided for students around campus to a higher level. Anil is also the President of the South Asian Student Association and a part of Miramontes Arts and Science program. Anil enjoys hiking, working out, helping others and spending time with his family.

Mifa Kim

Mifa Kim

Mifa is a senior majoring in psychology who volunteers for CAPS as a peer educator/intern. She is interested in pursuing a career as a therapist for children, adolescents and emerging adults. Mifa's interests include community psychology, art therapy, prevention, social justice and self-help. She is the co-producer for the audio-documentary radio show called 'Public Sense', which focuses on people's stories that highlight important political topics in Colorado. Outside of school, she loves to paint, ski, jog, listen to audio-documentary shows such as Radio Lab and This American Life, and cook new recipes. Mifa has lived in the USA, Canada, and Japan, and is bilingual in English and Japanese.

Mifa is working on the continued development of the 'How to Help a Friend' campaign. The goal of the project is to reach out to students worried about their friends and provide them with community support, resources and information. This project covers talking points on alcohol and drug abuse, eating disorders, suicide and relationships. Mifa looks forward to expanding 'How to Help a Friend' community events, monthly newsletter, community art project and new topics such as self-harm, grief and how to quit smoking. Mifa passionately advocates for the mission and vision of CAPS.

Alex Littleton

Alex Littleton

Alex is a senior majoring in Psychology and Sociology. He plans on pursuing an advanced degree in clinical or counseling psychology to continue building on his interests in the study of mental health. Alex will be working on programs aimed at informing students about the realities of substance use and abuse. Outside of his work with CAPS, Alex works in the Social Neuroscience Lab at CU under Dr. Ito studying and recording qualitative video data. He plans to serve as an officer of the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, and is a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Alex enjoys spending time with his friends at the pool, cooking, and learning new things.
As a Peer Educator, Alex plans on serving as a Co-Facilitator for the Bounce Back Program. He is excited to expand on CAPS projects to help increase visibility of the office and reduce negative stigmas associated with mental health. Alex plans on continuing his involvement with CAPS until his graduation in Spring 2014.

Erica Rozbruch

Erica Rozbruch

Erica Rozbruch is a senior who is double majoring in Psychology and Sociology. She is interested in getting her Ph.D in clinical psychology so she can pursue a career as a child and family psychologist. Outside of CAPS, Erica serves as President of CU’s Senior Class Council. She also researches in the Cognitive Psychology Lab under Dr. Alice Healy, in which she will pursue an honor’s thesis. She also works as a note taker for various psychology, sociology and science classes for Disability Services. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, going to movies, and relaxing on the weekends.

She has developed an ongoing outreach campaign, "How to Be a Happy B- School Student", where she does various programming in Koelbel to provide student with various resources in order to improve their overall quality of life . She is also the student assistant of the volunteer program, and serves as a member on the Mental Health Task Initiative Force. Erica plans to continue with the CAPS volunteer and peer educator programs throughout the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
