Undergraduate research opportunity for psych/neuroscience majors

The Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab is looking for undergraduate psychology or neuroscience majors who are interested in laboratory research with an option for independent study credit. Students will be trained in the transcribing and coding of audio files from participants of a meditation/compassion study. This study is investigating the neural circuitry of compassion and whether compassion can be increased through meditation training. The coding of the audio files for compassion will include integrative discussion with other students and faculty. Students interested in independent study credits will conduct guided independent research with this data and write individual research papers.

Informational meetings will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 12:30-1:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 1:30-2:30 p.m. in MUEN D154. If you are unable to come to either info meeting please contact Megan Powell (megan.powell@colorado.edu).
