Takács Quartet Master Class

Takacs Master Class

The Grammy-winning Takács Quartet coaches an ensemble of young performers Saturday, January 26 at 4 p.m. in Grusin Music Hall. Whether you're interested in insights for your own musicianship, or just want to better understand the process behind what you hear in the concert hall, don't miss this special event! Recognized as one of the world's great ensembles, the Takács Quartet is world famous for their unique blend of drama, warmth and humor, combining four distinct musical personalities to bring fresh insights to the string quartet repertoire. In 2012, Gramophone announced that the Takács was the only string quartet to be inducted into its first Hall of Fame.

Proceeds from this special event will help fund student summer travel scholarships. General Admission is $20, and CU-Boulder faculty, staff, and students with a Buff One card can receive 2 complimentary tickets by coming to the CU Presents Box Office in the University Club.
