Submit a Community Note

Community notes are used to submit announcements of interest to our campus community. Some examples include:

  • recent faculty, staff or student awards or milestones
  • trainings and professional development
  • construction and maintenance updates
  • campus sustainability news
  • other news of interest to our campus audience

PLEASE NOTE: The faculty-staff and student editions of CU-Boulder Today regularly publish three times per week. During breaks, we reduce our publishing schedule and update this note with relevant publication timelines before the break period.

During the fall and spring academic terms, the Faculty and Staff edition publishes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Student edition publishes on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. During breaks and the summer term, both editions publish on Tuesday and Thursday - with the occasional exception of once-per-week during the winter break.

Select the date you prefer your post to be published. Every effort will be made to accommodate requested dates, but the editors reserve the right to use discretion regarding publish dates. Please note: if you are publicizing an event, do not put the event date in this field.
Please limit to 250 characters
Pictures should be square and have a minimum size of 300 x 300 pixels for best results. Inappropriate or off-topic images will cause your submission to be rejected. Please make sure you have the rights to use the image you select. Visit for a wide variety of pre-approved campus images.
Files must be less than 800 KB.
Allowed file types: gif jpg png.
