The Slackline Club at CU is hosting the second annual Slacking for Trees event on Friday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on the west end of Norlin Quad. This is the time of year when slackliners come together to celebrate the trees that let us slack and the forests that let us breathe. Anyone is welcome to come by the west end of Norlin Quad between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to try out the sport, hear about our tree projection campaign, learn to be a rainforest-safe shopper, and help us raise charity money for a reforestation project in Brazil ($1/tree)!
Also, around 4 p.m., there will be a student competition with some high-flying tricks and hard-hitting falls. Come check out the action and watch as we crown this year’s champion!
