12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
UMC 415-417
Program Overview:
It’s not surprising that we’re afraid to talk about dying. It’s not surprising that good information about resources gives you the awareness you need to help you make good decisions for you and your family. But it is always a surprise how badly things can go if you haven’t thought about it at all. Conversations with professionals who understand end-of-life care and aren’t afraid of dying are informative, interesting and full of life and humor, as well as honesty and support for your questions and fears.
Presenter:
Kim Mooney is Director of Community Education for HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. For 18 years, she has developed and provided extensive trainings on end-of-life care issues, caregiver issues, and grief support. Kim also sits on the Board of Directors for the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
