This conference offers undergraduates the opportunity to present their writing on diversity issues. It hones their professional skills and prepares them for National Conferences. The event includes a lively opening orcestrated by charismatic singer and dancer, Nii Armah session with the CU Dialogues Project and Pilar Prostko thus addressing Diversity issues experientially by including conversations with immigrant workers on our campus. The final event with Motus Playback Theater also engages people in reflecting on their own experience of Diversity in the here and now. The conference attracts a broad audience from campus, the city of Boulder, Denver and folks from as far away as Washington, D.C. and Africa.
