In addition to breaking down the application process and benefits of Peace Corps service we'll have a guest Returned Peace Corps Volunteer speaker Carly Wilkins share her pictures and stories of service in Paraguay. As an added bonus we'll take a quick look back at our highlights throughout the year with a fun video of our Peace Corps activities at CU.
We know you'll be hungry from studying for finals so there will be FREE PIZZA too.
Peace Corps volunteers serve in over 70 countries in different program areas including health, education, environment, agriculture, business and information/communication technology and community development. Volunteers serve for 27 months, including 3 months of in-country training. Volunteers receive a living stipend, health insurance, and international travel costs are covered.
