Participants needed for CU research study on mental health, earn $25

Earn $25 for participation in a 2-hour study. The Adolescent Development and Preventive Treatment (ADAPT) research program is looking for individuals to participate in a study of mental health and adolescent development.

Eligible participants are ages 12 to 21 and have experienced one or more of the following symptoms:

  • Unusual thoughts
  • Suspiciousness or paranoia
  • A sense of having special powers or unrealistic plans for the future
  • Unusual experiences with seeing or hearing things that are not there.

All assessments are provided at no cost. An initial screening will compensate participants $25 for a 2-hour interview, and $10 for a 30-minute interview with a family member/significant other (over 18). Then, if ADAPT is found to be a good fit for you, you will be invited to participate in a compensated 2-year longitudinal study.
