CU's Peace and Conflict Studies Program, The Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project, and the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center present the 4th film in the monthly Palestine Film Series. Until When will be shown Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. in Duane Physics Room G1B20.
Set during the current Intifada, Until When follows four Palestinian families living in Dheisheh Refugee Camp near Bethlehem. Viewers will have the opportunity to hear the untold story about the lives of millions of Palestinian refugees. They talk about their past and discuss the future with humor, sorrow, frustration and hope. Until When paints an intimate in-depth portrait of Palestinian lives that are not well-known today.
Following the film we will have discussion led by a recent college graduate who spent her Junior year living with a family in Dheisheh Refugee Camp.
The film series will continue, one per month, through May. Upcoming films are: Feb. 20: 5 Broken Cameras; March 20: The Human Turbine; April 24: Wedding in Galilee; and May 15: Tears of Gaza. All will be shown in Duane Physics Room G1B20.
