Over spring break a number of updates will be made to enterprise-level servers and databases affecting access to critical campus services during the early-morning hours of Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29. Starting at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, www.colorado.edu and its subdirectories, some content in the portals, WebAccess and other online services will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes to make data center improvements. On Friday morning starting at 5 a.m., an enterprise database update will make services unavailable for up to two hours including Mobile MyCUInfo, CU-Boulder Identity Manager, WebAccess and Clicker registration. The Office of Information Technology must move content switches which will affect availability of www.colorado.edu and its subdirectories, some content in the portals, WebAccess and more (see Affected Services) for approximately 15 minutes on Thursday, March 28 at 5:30 a.m. This change is necessary to make data center improvements.
During the maintenance the affected services (see Affected Services below) will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes.

WebAcces/Federated Shibboleth: logins to Qualtrics, CDLib (DPM Tool), Kronos (Leeds Mentoring), ALEKS Math Assessment and any service using WebAccess for login purposes may also be impacted.
Service Maintenance: Enterprise Database (affecting Mobile MyCUInfo, CU-Boulder Identity Manager, WebAccess and more)
The campus Enterprise Database will undergo an update on Friday, March 29 at 5 a.m. making a number of online services unavailable for up to two hours including Mobile MyCUInfo, CU-Boulder Identity Manager, WebAccess and Clicker registration.
During the update users will be unable to login to CU-Boulder Identity Manager, Clicker registration, Mobile MyCUInfo, and Northstar lookup services. Also, any service using WebAccess for login purposes (e.g. Qualtrics, CDLib, Kronos) will also be impacted. The Book Store data retrieval, QuickAdmit, SID to Username Service and Token Exchange services will also be affected (see Affected Services below).

In addition, the following "web services" and applications that are related to UIS portals will be impacted:
• Book Store data retrieval
• QuickAdmit (CEPS quick provisioning)
• TokenExchange (provides some single-sign-on access to other resources via the UIS student portal)
The following services will be delayed while the ED is down:
• Rosters (sympa) - Sync attempts will fail but otherwise should use cached data
• CULearn TAC Powerlink
• Mail Routing Updates (handled by Identity Manager)
